Job Description :

  • Client’s Final Assembly Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Assembly Engineer.
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to lead equipment and vehicle planning, standardization, and Equipment installations for Client.
  • Reporting to the Final Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Final Assembly’s department's objective to plan future Assembly plant activities at Client.

What you’ll be doing :

  • 30%) Equipment Planning for upcoming model changes / Plant introduction
  • 30%) Standardize layouts / designs for future model
  • 30%) Install and implement new process equipment
  • 10%) New Technology investigations / Special Projects and proof of concepts
  • Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Client

    • Requirements : What you bring :

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Degree
  • MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to all NAM’s as well as Japan / Canada / Mexico
  • Ability to work up to 30% overtime (Weekend and shut down periods) 10-12 hours shift
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position
  • This position will require support for equipment installation and start up for both Summer and Winter Shutdown periods including potential to support 2nd shift activities; candidate must be able to meet these schedules as required
  • This person will work on Shop floor, Basic PPE.

  • Experience in new model launch preparations
  • Vehicle SE Experience
  • Catia Experience
  • AutoCAD Experience

    • Top 3 Skills :

  • Vehicle manufacturing
  • Catia and Autocad (Similar tools)
  • Engineering Background.
