Job Description
- Laboratory Technician 3 position ( General Imaging (OB, GYN, Breast, Vascular) Clinical Test Engineer) requires the candidate to be registered as a Clinical Sonographer with ARDMS accreditation (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in Clinical Development is highly preferred.
- Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to ARDMS guidelines for procedures and scanning protocols.
- Knowledge of ultrasound physics and implementing knowledge to effectively provide constructive feedback on input for development.
- Ensuring patient safety, monitoring the patient for potentially dangerous physical and/or emotional change
- Abide by all HIPAA standards for patient privacy.
- Experience: BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ARDMS certified (or equivalent) .
- Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments.
- Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
- Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge of computer skills.
- Ultrasound experience, particularly in human scanning
- ARDMS certification
- Good work ethics
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working with cross-departmental teams of approximately 5 people
- Using ultrasound equipment for testing, writing procedures, and validating the functionality of the system on human models
