Job Description
- Prepare component RFQ information for buyers and/or direct issue RFQs to suppliers
- Drive prompt supplier replies to RFQ requests.
- Establish and maintain tracking status on components from RFQ through delivery including actions items
- Monitor supplier component development schedules; work proactively to highlight risks and identify potential impact to delivery schedules
- Lead calls with suppliers to track, assess and drive progress to schedules and capture and track actions items
- PPAP execution; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary.
- Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required
- Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics. Provide summaries and prepare weekly updates
