Job Description:
The selected candidate will assist on all routine lab activities related to Next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation, from tissue collecting to library preparation and validation. He or she will also work on optimizing and automating all the processes on the lab.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field
- Experience in Molecular Biology techniques such as isolation & quantification of DNA and RNA, PCR, and RT-PCR
- Basic understanding of principles and techniques for library preparation and validation for Next-Generation sequencing using Illumina platforms
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment under critical deadlines
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written & verbal communication skills
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
