Join our Construction Services Team in renovating Tel Hai apartments and cottages for new residents. Full time, year round work on Tel Hai's campus - no travel.

Carpenter / Renovations Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Performs hands-on work for renovations including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, major equipment, life safety systems and emergency systems under the direction of the Construction Manager.

Installs ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms and gangways. Installs door and window bucks and sub-flooring in buildings. Fits and nails sheathing on outer walls and rooves on buildings.

Constructs, erects, installs and repairs commercial, industrial and residential structures as well as rough wooden structures, such as concrete forms, scaffolds, wooden bridges, trestles, coffer dams.

Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches and paints cabinets, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, water-proofing and heat resistant finishes.

Fits and installs prefabricated wooden cabinets, window frames, door frames, doors, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim and finish hardware.

Performs electrical equipment and electrical system upgrades / installs as directed.

Requirements :

Carpenter / Renovations Tech Qualifications :

High School Graduate or equivalent preferred, with the ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Trade or technical school (or equivalent experience).

Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.

Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting / drywall practices with a proven history in general construction practices.

Salary : $28
