Job Summary
We are seeking an Electronic Circuit Tester Apprentice to join our team. This is a flexible position that can be part-time or full-time based on school schedule.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, testing and troubleshooting circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. They will also determine and develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, components, and assemblies
- Determines and develops test specifications, methods, and procedures from technical documentation
- Tests and troubleshoots electronic systems and subassemblies
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
- Maintains accurate records of testing and quality control activities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A GED or High School Diploma
- Pursuing a Technical Associate's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work Environment
This is a physically demanding role that requires regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 35 pounds. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
