Move or coordinate the movement of materials, parts, carts, orders, skids, drums etc. around the plant and/or other storage locations to support the daily needs of production and maintain an accurate and organized warehouse system.
Actively participate in maintaining and accurate inventory including investigating and resolving errors.
Recommend/initiate the replenishment of items that fall below established stocking levels or where current work load indicates a potential shortage.
Identify inventory items that are above inventory target levels, slow moving or possibly obsolete and bring to the attention of Production Control for further investigation.

Responsibilities
- Move or coordinate the movement of materials, parts, carts, orders, skids, drums etc. around the plant and/or other storage locations to support the daily needs of production and maintain an accurate and organized warehouse system.
- Duties based on area of assignment, individuals may be required to perform all or only some of these duties as outlined based on supervisor or Lead assignment.
- Load/unload trucks or other delivery vehicles as necessary.
- Withdraw parts, materials and the like from inventory based on picklist or other documents produced by ERP system or supervisor, Lead or Production Control.
- Perform transactions in the EPR system to signify that items have been moved from their storage spot onto the job order (WIP) or other location.
- Deliver cart, parts, etc. to the operation defined on the job order or as directed by supervisor, Lead or Production Control.
- Move as necessary WIP items that have completed their current step and are ready to be moved to the next operation.
- Return to stock, components that have been completed and are ready for storage.
- Operates lift trucks and other moving devices used in a warehouse.
- Cleans/organizes/straightens areas as defined by Lead or supervisor which may include removing trash, scrap bins, skids, boxes and/or other others items that result from a factory environment.
- Performs additional duties and assignments, as requested
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- The candidate needs to be able to read blueprints, strong knowledge of inventory management processes, part traceability and the ability to maintain an accurate warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and company ERP system.
- Must have impeccable organizational skills and be detailed oriented.

- Ability to lift 75 lbs

- Required to visually identify defects in incoming materials as well as use inspection tools and equipment
