CARD SERVICES ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Process member requests and transactions in a positive, accurate and professional manner.
- Enthusiastically support the credit union’s focus on member service and sales goals.
- Preparation of recurring reports.
- Reconciliation of function-related accounts.
- Provide phone support to both external and internal member/customers regarding card transactions. Follow through until full resolution of the concern/request.
- Complete new/replacement card requests.
- Review/Perform card maintenance requests to ensure proper authorization and documentation in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Investigate to full resolution card inquiries and disputes consistent with Regulation E/Regulation Z requirements.
- Performs preliminary research into member dispute and fraud claims including compiling documentation for chargeback and fraud processing, maintaining accurate logs of fraud and dispute claims as well as provisional credits, monitoring reports and updating claim tracking, and filing insurance claims.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience with debit and credit card products along with applicable regulations.
- Previous experience with bank/credit union environment in one or more of the following areas: customer service, call center, customer sales, compliance, or fraud.
- Technical skills including, but not limited to the ability to efficiently and effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ability to build & maintain relationships with internal and external members.
