What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant PA, Nurse practitioner ARNP PMHNP Orlando Area position at Tele Med Clinix?
We are a medical group practice that specializes in the medical and psychiatric needs of patients with substance use disorders and/or mental health history.
We provide these services to mental health and addiction recovery centers in Florida and Louisiana to patients via telehealth.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant with experience in addiction medicine and/or psychiatry.
Duties you will perform
- Addiction care - evaluations and management of the patient
- Medical evaluations
- Psychiatric care - evaluations and management of the patient
- Instruct and counsel patients
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Initiate and manage Medication Assisted patients for substance use disorders
- Health risk counseling
- Medication management
Candidates with experience in psychiatric evaluations, addiction recovery, and medication management are preferred.
Requirements:
- Florida Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- CPR certification
- Electronic Medical Record ability
- DEA Licence
- Proficient in spanish - preferred
- References required

Master's, DNP (optional)
