The Vice President – Financial Operations is a key leader that supports the organization’s financial health by managing day-to-day financial processes and operational efficiency. They are responsible for managing Telecare’s financial systems, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and optimizing internal controls within each region and program.

The Vice President – Financial Operations must be an operations-oriented, hands-on leader who can oversee the tools, systems, metrics, and processes to help the company scale for the future and foster a culture of transparency and accountability for driving profitable growth, while ensuring that finance is seen as a value-added business partner. The Vice President – Financial Operations oversees the day-to-day financial activities of all programs and provides actionable insights at both the enterprise level and on a regional and program level. This position requires working closely with multiple business partners including the program and regional operating personnel and corporate leaders. The position will ensure a priority of the financial operations department is to effectively communicate and educate to build business acumen in our field operations. Understanding the financial drivers and risks and communicating those to partner with operations leadership on implementing solutions, is key to the success of this role. The incumbent will focus on executing tactical strategies to improve operational results through financial insights and analyses. The incumbent should have a proven track record of optimizing processes and performance.

Full Time; DAYS 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm; Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range is $203,934.37 to $251,978.83. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in financial operations in a multi-facility healthcare environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a leadership role, including mentoring, coaching, conflict resolution, and ability to influence and engage others in a matrix environment
  • Prior experience with advanced financial management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance / accounting or relevant field
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, interpersonal) and previous experience working with and presenting to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated proficiency in internal controls, budgeting, financial analysis and operating efficiencies
  • Results-oriented with excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
  • Preferred :

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Certifications in accounting, finance, internal audit (CPA, CFA, CIA, CMA) and / or project management (PMP, CAPM, CSM)
  • SKILLS

  • Ability to plan, direct, support, and supervise operational and financial reporting functions
  • Superior analytic and critical thinking skills with an ability to propose creative solutions to operational dilemmas
  • Challenges the status quo to help the organization be responsive to its stakeholders
  • Ability to coach and develop others in both technical and relationship building skills
  • Superior verbal, written, and oral communication and facilitation skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external key stakeholders

  • Approaches problem-solving with sense of urgency and uses initiative, resourcefulness, and in-depth knowledge of policies and systems to create solutions
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain efficient and effective accounting processes and internal control systems
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines and efficiently manage tasks and time
  • Proficiency with high-level accounting software applications and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Clinical Quality Excellence : Responsible for having a strong awareness of how financial decisions impact the overall quality of care for clients and effectively communicating the impact of decisions to operations partners.
  • Workforce Engagement : Oversees a team of Regional Financial Operations Directors ensuring their ongoing development and collaboration.
  • Customer Satisfaction : Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Security : Builds and manages a best-in-class financial operations team.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and / or changed at the discretion of management.
