This is a part-time on-site role for a Field Technician based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Field Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various telecommunications equipment and systems. Daily tasks include setting up structured cabling, configuring VoIP systems, implementing UCaaS solutions, and managing video surveillance and access control systems. Additionally, the Field Technician will aid in office relocations and build-out projects.
- Experience with Structured Cabling and Telecommunications systems
- Knowledge of Hosted VoIP and UCaaS technologies
- Skills in Video Surveillance and Access Control systems
- Problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on-site in various locations within the New York City Metropolitan Area
- Experience in project management and office relocations is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant technical certifications are a plus
