Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded individual to take on the position of Payroll Technician supporting our US business units. The Payroll Technician will report to the Senior Payroll & Compliance Specialist and will work in close partnership with Talent & Culture Business Partners, the Attraction Team and the Payroll/Compensation & Benefits functions. The Payroll Technician will assist with maintaining employee records and provide administrative support to all employees and team members in the US.
This is currently a Hybrid work opportunity with a combination of remote work and office work as required at our Salt Lake City location. It is a part time job at 20 hours per week.

You Will Have The Opportunity To
Payroll
- Create and maintain employee records in the HRIS database and Payroll software
- Assist with internal and external Payroll related inquiries or requests
- Prepare and analyze Payroll reporting for pay deposits, accounting activities or compensation and benefits activities
- Coordinate invoicing for US Payroll, Compensation, Benefit and Pension suppliers
- 3 years of experience in Payroll
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Taleo and ADP) an asset
- Proficient using all MS Office products including Excel and as well as related business and communication tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities with an ability to work well in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative, team player with a growth mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
