What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Salesperson position at TeleData Technologies?
Our ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business through cold-calling, networking, social media, etc. from the office and in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have a strong grasp of current technology.
Responsibilities
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Conduct field site surveys
- Design systems and work with our systems engineers
- Prepare estimates based on site walks or engineered plans
- Meet established goals for client development and sales quotas
- Be a team player
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
- 1 years' experience in the low voltage / technology industry
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Excellent time management skills and detail oriented
