Job Summary:
The Director of MARCOM is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Marketing communication strategy. They are responsible for ensuring brand consistency and overseeing the creation and delivery of messaging to effectively reach target audiences, drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. They create and drive a digital Marketing strategy, collaboratively with the Teledyne Corporate Marketing Communications (MARCOM) Team. Working closely with Business Development, they are responsible for the planning and management of Trade Shows, development of Marketing collateral materials, social media campaigns and messaging, and monitoring the effectiveness of communication initiatives to achieve tactical and strategic objectives. In conjunction with Business Development Leadership, the help prepare and manage MARCOM budgets to effectively deliver optimal ROI for MARCOM investments.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement integrated MARCOM plans aligned with overall business goals.
- Define target audiences and develop tailored messaging strategies for different segments.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform communication strategies.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success.
- Brand Management:
- Protect and enhance the company's brand identity across all communication channels.
- Ensure brand consistency in messaging, tone of voice, and visual elements.
- Develop brand guidelines and standards for internal and external communications.
- These responsibilities will be completed in conjunction with Teledyne Corporate MARCOM Team.
- Content Creation and Distribution:
- Oversee the development of compelling Marketing content across various mediums including website, social media, print, email, and video.
- Manage content calendar and ensure timely delivery of Marketing materials.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality content.
- These responsibilities will be completed in conjunction with Teledyne Corporate MARCOM Team.
- Campaign Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of Marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.
- Develop and manage campaign budgets.
- Public Relations (PR):
- Manage media relations and build relationships with key journalists.
- Develop and execute PR strategies to generate positive media coverage.
- Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communication
- These responsibilities will be completed in conjunction with Teledyne Corporate MARCOM Team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- at least 8 years’ experience in developing and executing successful Marketing communication strategies, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Experience with Trade Show Planning and management
- Strong understanding of and experience with digital Marketing channels and tactics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and ability to develop compelling messaging
- Analytical skills to develop and manage Annual MARCOM Budget, measure campaign performance and ROI
- Strong experience with relevant Marketing tools and platforms
- Partnership builder, internally and externally. Ability to connect and impact target audiences
- Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases and making presentations
- Strategic thinker and executer, working with and through your team
- Experience with Marketing ideation, development and execution across all relevant MARCOM platforms (social/digital, video, print, etc)
- Experience working as a strong team member across multiple disciplines and teams, both internally and externally
- Detail oriented.
