Job Summary:
Under general supervision, complete job duties that may include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies. Perform test and verification procedures for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical components and subassemblies using defined production procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties
- Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems
- Perform complex bonding and curing procedures
- Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation
- Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Equivalent required, Associates Degree a plus.
- 1 - 2 years of mechanical assembly experience strongly preferred, electrical assembly experience a plus.
- Able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds for short durations
- Demonstrated ability to learn on the job
- Optic assembly experience preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
