Job Description
Summary:
PODF Support has overall responsibility for maintaining the US Payload Operations Data File as it resides in the International Procedures Viewer (IPV) for the International Space Station Program. Similar responsibility will be included in the Artemis Flight Data File for the Procedure Viewer/Executer (PVE) as the Artemis program grows.
PODF Support is responsible for ensuring all payload crew procedures meet the formats and conventions used in producing Operations Data File (ODF) procedures as defined in the Operations Data File Standards Document.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and/or review, integrate, verify and maintain payload crew procedures for ISS payloads in IPV flight and training libraries for ground and on-orbit training and operations execution
- Maintain baselined products in SharePoint, meeting configuration management guidelines
- Train procedure authors on procedure development using the IPV procedure authoring tool
- Assist procedure authors with Operations Data File (ODF) standards questions and with development when required
- Verify procedures against ODF standards prior to baseline delivery
- Provide back-room console position support, 8 hours x 5 days on a rotational basis.
- Provide rotational on-call weekend support

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 0-2 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with space operations a plus.

- Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
- Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) approximately /-10___%.
