Hardware Engineer Intern
As a Hardware Engineer Intern you would be part of a team of experienced engineers. Your involvement will be around
Location of work
Work is expected to be in-person, Chestnut Ridge NY, during the Summer months.
Qualifications
You will be working in direct contact with world class engineers, and you will be able to learn from them and spend time with real HW. If the occasion arises, you will be able to design a board, fab it and test it. Also, you will learn a great deal about what makes an Oscilloscope, from the HW to the SW that runs it.
Finally, you will be able part of the engineering team with its activities, pizza lunch trainings, BBQ during the summer with volleyball marches, access to onsite Gym.
Salary Range
$49,300.00-$65,700.000

Job Description
Hardware Engineer Intern
As a Hardware Engineer Intern you would be part of a team of experienced engineers. Your involvement will be around
- Testing and measurement technology.
- You will be involved in the process of design and layout of high-frequency PCBs
- Assisting hardware, FPGA and software engineers, in troubleshooting hardware and system level issues
Location of work
Work is expected to be in-person, Chestnut Ridge NY, during the Summer months.
Qualifications
- Pursuing BSEE or equivalent or Pursuing MSEE or equivalent
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
- Some experience in using electronics test equipment, like oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers etc.
- Python or similar scripting capability to analyze data.
- Knowledge of sampling theory, data converters, signal integrity and power integrity would be a plus.
- Some knowledge in using design simulation analysis tools like PSpice, Ansys tools, MatLab or other software tools would be a plus
- Some knowledge in using Excel or other analysis tools like MatLab would be a plus
- Must be an inquisitive problem solver and a proactive thinker
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have good communication skills
