Job Description
Basic Function :
This position will require you to develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes used in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. You will collaborate with design engineering on the release of new lens products. You will estimate manufacturing costs, calculate time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new and existing product lines. Under ISO 9001 : 2015 certification and Global Trade Compliance policies, you will thoroughly maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. The work is engaging, combines creativity with detail, and electro-mechanical with theory. Do you like high expectations and challenging work? Duties & Responsibilities :
Manage various programs that are run through the infrared lens production and calibration labs including :
- Perform process development
- Generate and maintain work instructions
- Support and maintain production processes
- Evaluate product material & production defects and work corrective
action with Quality
optimize equipment and maintain productivity
production improving devices
development and production programs
maintain an environment of continuous improvement
