The RN Director of Clinical Operations leads Trusted Care, fostering a high-performance culture and exemplary patient care. This role ensures quality, service excellence, and regulatory compliance, embodying the organization's mission, vision, and values. Key responsibilities include :

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of CSH
  • Leading by example and contributing to daily clinical care for patients and families.
  • Providing excellent patient care.
  • Ensuring clinical operational excellence.
  • Managing key clinical expenses.
  • Demonstrates and delivers exceptional customer service to patients, families, and referral sources.
  • Serve as one of the primary spheres of influence, as noted by the ability to coach, mentor, and lead the team.
  • Achieving service quality and compliance goals through strategic planning and execution.
  • Fosters relationships with the community and referral partners.
  • Implementing and following all clinical policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (state, federal, local, Medicare, SCDHEC, DEA, accreditation standards).
  • Participating and collaborating with the IDG.
  • Implementing process improvements identified by the QAPI process.
  • Participates with recruiting and hiring as we continue to grow our high-performance team.
  • A major contributor to consistent, high-quality onboarding experiences for new clinicians.
  • Adheres to Caring Seasons Leadership Principles. (Teleios Collaborative Network Leadership System).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

  • Knowledge of hospice regulations (federal, state, local)
  • Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation for Hospice
  • Knowledge of hospice and palliative care quality standards
  • Knowledge of adult learning and training methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Zoom / TEAMS
  • Exemplify the TCN Leadership System
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral / written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Facilitate large and small groups effectively
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate

  • Qualifications :

  • Registered Nurse
  • Bachelors of Nursing degree, Master preferred
  • TCN Leadership Immersion preferred (Training / classes will be offered if not already completed)
  • Experience :

  • 5 years in a Leadership position in Hospice or Palliative Care
  • Proven track record with leading by example with / for clinical teams in hospice and palliative care
  • Experience and Knowledge of team formation and building
  • Proven track record and a natural resilience that will demonstrate your commitment to excellence for yourself, your team and the community you serve.
  • Licenses & Certifications :

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of SC
  • Active Professional Affiliation preferred
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance (or other mode of personal transportation) required
