Responsibilities
Commercial Finance Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of commercial finance strategies across America to support business growth and profitability
- Collaborate with regional leadership teams to drive financial performance and commercial decision-making through actionable insights and strategic guidance
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support product launches, pricing strategies, and customer negotiations
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors to forecast opportunities and risks in the regions
- Act as a trusted finance business partner for senior leaders across sales, marketing, and operations in the USA
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business goals
- Drive the financial planning and budgeting process for regional teams, ensuring alignment with global and local business priorities
- Support senior management in developing financial KPIs and tracking performance against targets
- Lead regional financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including P&L reviews, variance analysis, and scenario modeling to inform decision-making
- Oversee the development of regular performance reporting, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership
- Identify financial risks across USA and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance policies across both regions
- Monitor and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance with company standards
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- MBA or professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial finance, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role
- Strong financial acumen with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership
- Expertise in strategic financial planning and business partnering to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Strong understanding of the financial landscape, regulatory environments, and market dynamics
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools
- Experience in the technology, FMCG, or multinational sectors is advantageous
- Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the broader business context and translate financial insights into actionable strategies
