Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Outcomes Specialist will provide support to multiple Stepdown/Telemetry units at Sinai Hospital. The Clinical Outcomes Specialist is a Masters’ or Doctoral prepared Registered Nurse who functions as a resource to nurses and patients to improve quality care outcomes within the healthcare organization. The COS works within the Department of Clinical Excellence to facilitate evidence-based practice implementation, positively influencing nursing care delivery. Using a data-driven approach, the COS leads sustainable change to elevate nursing professional practice and ensure seamless, quality patient care across the continuum.
REQUIREMENTS:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required; MSN with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification or eligibility to sit for CNS exam preferred

5-7 years of relevant RN experience required; telemetry experience highly preferred

American Heart Association BLS

Registered Nurse (RN) License required

Cardiac experience preferred
