About this role:
As a Social Media Content Moderator, you will review user-generated content on our client's platform to ensure it meets community guidelines. This role is key in providing a positive social experience for all users.
You will be responsible for reviewing strong graphic images, videos, and written content to determine if they meet community guidelines. You will also participate in frequent refresher training to always implement correct policies.
This role requires you to be able to moderate traumatic, sensitive, and potentially offensive content. You will also provide trends and insights to develop improvements to the overall processes and recommend process, policy, and product improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience navigating internet websites, including social media and commercial websites
- Strong spelling, grammar, and reading skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and resilience
- Comfortability reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate and/or contain explicit material
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing business needs
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Availability to work various shifts
- Experienced with Windows operating systems
- Strong computer skills with ability to use multiple windows and/or programs at the same time
- Ability to type 25 wpm
- Over 18 years of age
- High School Graduate or GED or higher (proof required to be provided)
- Predictable and reliable attendance
