Duties / Responsibilities :
- Conducts classification reviews in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE OC procedures for RD, FRD, TFNI, NSI, and UCNI, but not limited to, one or more of the technical areas listed in the minimum qualifications.
- Determines whether information is classified or UCNI or other CUI. Assists in the evaluations of classification, UCNI, and other CUI programs as required. Assists in the development and review of classification guidance and UCNI guidelines.
- May be required to perform the duties of Document Reviewer Lever (DRL4).
Minimum Requirements :
U.S CitizenMaster’s degree or equivalent in engineering or physical science from an accredited college or university. Individual must be able to read and understand written English at or above academic grade 15.The Nelson Denny reading assessment (http : / / riverpub.com / products / ndr t / index.html) or equivalent reading assessment would be accepted by the Government.The contractor must provide the written test score from the completed reading comprehension test to certify that the individual has met this requirement before being hired / accepted on the contract.Document Reviewers Level 5 must qualify as a Derivative Classifier (DC), UCNI Reviewing Official, and Derivative Declassifier (DD) by the end of the contract transition period and remain onboard for at least one year, unless agreed to otherwise by the Government. After the transition has occurred replacement individuals must be qualified as DC, UCNI Reviewing Official, and DD at time of hire or promotion to this position.At least five (5) years of field experience in nuclear weapons design and improvised nuclear devices.Required for each KEY Document Reviewer Level 5 to have comprehensive, detailed knowledge of how a thermonuclear weapon is constructed and why, and how a thermonuclear weapon works. It is highly desirable for the Document Reviewer Level 5 to have current Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.Required for the Document Reviewer Level 5 to have served a two (2)-year tour of duty as a military service Military Research.Preferred Requirements :
Highly desirable for the Document Reviewer Level 5 to have current experience identifying classified information about DOE equities in Government records or in developing classification guidance, and ten or more years of experience as a Derivative Declassified ( DD) or equivalent.Highly desirable for the individual to be qualified as a DOE DC at time of hire.Highly desirable to also have at least five (5) years field experience in one or more of the following four (4) areas : (1) nuclear material production, such as but not limited to, isotope separation technologies (atomic vapor laser isotope separation, gaseous diffusion, gas centrifuge, etc.), and nuclear material processing (2) counterintelligence and nuclear intelligence (3) weapon science and inertial confinement fusion (4) military utilization of nuclear weapons.Highly desirable for the Document Reviewer Level 5 to have current Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.About TeleSolv Consulting :
