Senior Data Scientist/SME

TeleSolv Consulting has an opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Senior Data Scientist / SME. This role is hybrid (Please only apply if you live locally and are willing to commute on-site).

Duties / Responsibilities :

• The Senior Data SME will be responsible for oversight of the category Management Program Management Office contractor data support team.
• The SME will serve as an advisor to GSA and OMB executives on matters related to spend data.
• The lead will be responsible for the development of accurate and high quality dashboards that are published to USASpend.gov.
• The Senior Data SME shall be the senior expert, data analyst, and will possess extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying data analytic methodologies and principles.
• The SME will lead the application of analytic techniques and help define project objectives and strategic direction.
• The SME is responsible for providing leadership and vision to client and project teams around the methodology and resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles.

Background Investigation :

This position requires that you obtain a background investigation from our client. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
