TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as an Intermediate Business Consultant enabling you to have an Active Public Trust status.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Assist senior leadership in implementation and management of organizational restructuring.
- Provide project/program planning, recommendations, and support for a broad range of initiatives to include the configuration and use of strategic tools in support of process improvement and/or modernization efforts. Such tools may include Portal, project/portfolio management information system, asset tracking and management, timekeeping, service catalog, and incident ticketing system.
- Assist in defining policy, scope, developing plans, timelines, cost/resource estimates, tracking action items and their resolution, and assessing workforce distribution requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver performance, data, and metrics reporting, analyses, and support services.
- Support higher level strategic planning and integration efforts by providing consultation, facilitation, and project management services in support of the projects and initiatives.
- Support government personnel in the use of enterprise project management software, to include implementation and management of the Project Rigor process.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and support meetings and working group sessions to include team coordination/collaboration, deep-dives, Service Management Reviews/Program Management Reviews (SMR/PMRs), round tables, briefings, senior leadership, project development, stand-up, status updates, and Rigor meetings/working groups.
- Develop supporting documents (agendas, briefs, meeting minutes, action items) as necessary for meetings and working group sessions.
- Provide project/program planning, recommendations, and support.
- Assist in defining scope and developing project plans using approved work breakdown structure(s) (WBS) that provide project team with usable MS Project-based plans. The plans will be of sufficient detail to allow project team to accurately track project execution, planned/unplanned tasks, resources, action items, and risks.
- Assist in the review and drafting of documents and reports.
- Submit recommendations, including supporting documentation, for potential corrective actions in response to problems/issues identified.
- Participate in various levels of management and teamwork groups. directorate reviews and provide suggestions and recommendations to the customer for enhancements.
- Attend and facilitate high-level meetings/briefings; prepare multi-media presentations and brief reference materials, as required.
Minimum Requirements
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in business development, re-engineering, and management after degree.
- Three (3) years of proficiency in the following MS applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
- Can establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and clients.
- Prioritize tasks and follow through to completion in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Able to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to read, analyze and accurately interpret documents such as operating instructions, technical procedures, and regulations.
Preferred Requirements
- Master’s degree in a business-related field.
- Three (3) years of SharePoint expertise.
- ITIL 4.0 Certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation from our client. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
