Position Summary:
Payer Enrollment Team Member is responsible for managing the enrollment process for healthcare providers with insurance payers. This includes tasks like verifying provider information, submitting enrollment applications, and ensuring compliance with payer requirements. The role often involves maintaining accurate records, following up on pending applications, and resolving any issues that arise during the enrollment process. The position will require in office setting in either Fort Myers or Atlanta.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete initial, reassignment and revalidation applications with Medicare/Medicaid for providers.
- Ensure physician recredentialing apps for Commercial insurance networks are completed timely.
- Maintain PECOS portal for providers, including approval of facilities and updating demographic information.
- Manage and Maintain NPPES portal for providers.
- Create, update, and maintain CAQH profiles for providers.
- Practice Manager CAQH profile for all providers and facilities.
- Manage password updates for various enrollment portals, included but not limited to CAQH, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Updating and maintaining Salesforce with the progress of all activities.
- Complete payer enrollment paperwork for providers and return to the Enrollment Support facility.
- Manage Availity portal for various insurance networks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Payer Enrollment experience required.
- Credentialing software experience required.
- Experience with Joint Commission or National Committee for Quality Assurance preferred.
