Job Description:
Telespond Senior Services, a nonprofit which focuses on providing older adults day services and community based supports is seeking a dynamic and strategic Admissions and Business Development Specialist to lead client intake efforts and drive the growth of our adult day center by developing marketing and community outreach strategies. This role combines compassionate client engagement with a strong focus on outreach, partnerships, and marketing to ensure the center reaches and serves as many qualified individuals as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire admissions and intake process, ensuring a smooth, compassionate, and compliant experience for new clients and their families.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment and enhance client retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as local Area Agency on Aging, Hospitals and clinics, social workers, senior living communities, and case managers.
- Conduct community outreach and marketing efforts to raise awareness of services offered.
- Track and report admissions data, growth trends, and referral patterns to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify new opportunities for expansion and service enhancement.
- Ensure all admissions practices meet local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
- Experience with business development, or client services, preferably in a healthcare or senior care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of adult day services, elder care programs, and related regulations a plus.
- An ability to show empathy and compassion to family caregivers seeking respite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- Bonus opportunities
