What are the responsibilities and job description for the HHA - Home Health Aide position at Telespond Senior Services?
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide quality care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans.
- Provide medication reminders as needed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to their care team.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, ambulation, repositioning/transfers , and light house keeping.
Qualifications:
- Experience in home care or hospice care is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with people with physical disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to provide direct support and assistance to patients with varying needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage behaviors in a compassionate manner
