The Opportunity :

That is why we need an experienced Commercialization Advisor like you to provide high-quality support.

As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical consultant to clients in our health market, like the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You'll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You'll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You'll maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assist with the management of current programs, and facilitate commercialization of successfully developed technologies.

You'll serve as a Commercialization Advisor helping clients to develop stakeholder management strategies, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating successful programs across the agency, and be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving skills will enable the mission's success.

What You'll Work On :

  • Building and executing our client's Small Business Program and stakeholder engagement strategy.
  • Providing commercialization support on our client's Public Intermediary Agreements.
  • Advising on the development of key services and transition programs to support the entire R&D program lifecycle.
  • Working with funded teams to develop and execute project plans, monitor progress of projects, handle administration, compile and distribute deliverables, and provide continuous feedback.
  • Collaborating with federal program managers to assess needs, translate needs into requirements, and then work with providers to deliver high quality outputs.

You Have :

  • 20 years of experience with healthcare technology commercialization
  • Experience developing commercialization strategies and technology transfer initiatives
  • Experience in program or project management and IP or licensing strategies
  • Experience transitioning healthcare technologies in commercialization
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability / Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Master's degree in a healthcare field
  • Nice If You Have :

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively
  • Ability to pay strict attention to details and diligently adhere to deadlines and deliverables
  • Possession of excellent project management, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
