Job Summary
An Information Security Risk Specialist, Senior will break down complex cyber threats into manageable plans of action for government agencies. The specialist will use experience to work with the DoD and Navy to discover cyber risks, understand policies, and develop a mitigation plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover cyber risks and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with the DoD and Navy.
- Work as an information security subject matter expert to analyze policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Broaden skills in cybersecurity and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Requirements
- Experience as an Information Systems Security Manager, Information Systems Security Engineer, or Information Systems Security Officer.
- Experience with DoD RMF, analyzing policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information System Security Professional or Associate (CISSP) Certification.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Ports, Protocols and Services Matrix, Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), and Host Based Security Systems.
- Ability to create tactics, techniques, procedures, whitepapers, standard operating procedures, workflows, system data flows, and architectural diagrams.
