Note : This is a fully on-site position in a network operations environment, providing 24 / 7 support. Remote work will not be considered or permitted.
Join our team at Televerse as a Network Operating Technician, where you will support networks for Samsung Austin Semiconductor’s new manufacturing facility in Taylor, Texas. You will mainly be involved in the initial triage, escalation, and resolution of network troubles.

- Night Shift (7 pm – 7 am)
Qualifications (Required) :
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldBasic computer, operating system, and application knowledgeKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Professional and effective written and oral communication skillsAbility to stay organized and prioritize work under pressureSelf-motivated and team-focused attitudeQualifications (Preferred) :
Experience in working at a Network Operations Center or similar environmentBasic understanding of network operations (including topology, protocols)Basic understanding of networking technologies and components such as switches, routers, and firewallsResponsibilities :
Proactively monitor the network and promptly identify, notify, and escalate all issuesAssist in the management of the emergency process for issues requiring escalationAct as a point of contact for all incoming service requests, working closely with engineers and communicating directly with clients as neededPerform basic network operations functions such as identifying deterioration of components and dispatching field personnel with repairsOversee traffic patterns to identify potential problem areas and escalate to take corrective action to implement short-term adjustments, as well as refer chronic problems to Engineering for permanent resolutionCompose and send outage alerts related to high-risk network events and major customer-impacting incidentsProcess equipment return and analysis requests for failed hardwareProvide necessary feedback to improve the process and workflow efficiencyContinuously develop technical skills by resolving a portion of incoming support cases to enable career progressionActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceWhat We Offer :
