Your Opportunity
The Vendor Procurement Manager is responsible for the successful procurement of labor and materials from a network of subcontractors and material suppliers to support customer needs. To support achievement of these goals, the Manager provides overall leadership and development of a Vendor Procurement team responsible for establishing, monitoring, and managing to meet performance goals and metrics to ensure sufficient vendor coverage and supplies are maintained to meet customer performance requirements while maintaining the department's marginal goal. The Vendor Procurement Manager is responsible for the
performance of the Vendor Procurement Team including personnel, processes, and systems. The Manager will participate in all customer opportunity calls assisting in the coordination of new customer onboarding.
Essential Functions
- Oversee identification of vendor coverage gaps impacting all customer locations; ensures gaps are resolved through procurement of vendors assignments with appropriate capabilities/skills and availability to address customer location needs.
- Responsible for maintaining existing vendor relationships including, but not limited to, developing, and maintaining vendor scorecards, visiting vendors onsite and resolving escalated vendor issues.
- Create, implement, and manage vendor supply chain operational enhancements to create, and/or improve, efficiencies for the company and its key suppliers.
- Create, implement, and manage daily performance metrics for Vendor Procurement Specialist positions.
- Responsible for obtaining favorable pricing and terms from vendors and suppliers based on current market norms. Participates in all customer opportunity calls to support coordination of new customer on boarding; drafts and negotiates labor and supply contracts as appropriate.
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Supervisory Responsabilities
- Directly supervises 3-5 employees within the Vendor Procurement department(s).
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite;
- 3-5 years’ experience in Vendor Recruiting
- 3-5 years’ experience in managing
- 3-5 years’ experience in Fire, life Safety
Salary : $60,000
