Position Summary:
Telios Construction Management (TCM) is looking for an experienced and skilled MEP Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing commercial construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to oversee and coordinate onsite work. The MEP Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of construction projects, including scheduling, coordination of resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure that work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies, and implement corrective measures as needed
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress, and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues
- Ensure that all project documentation, including permits, contracts, change orders, and progress reports, are accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and maintain proper record-keeping
Minimum Criteria:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management or a related field preferred
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience on MEP construction projects, with at least 2 years of direct work experience as a construction project superintendent or similar supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations, as well as construction materials, methods, and equipment
- Demonstrated work experience and a proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Stable work history is required
