You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping us to advance our portfolio of late clinical-stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases.

The Finance Intern will support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for R&D projects within Telix’s Therapeutics division. This position will blend some Accounting, FP&A, and Financial Systems elements. The intern will work closely with IT, finance, and project management to ensure effective cost management and strategic investment decisions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with data validation, reconciliations, and variance analysis in Excel to support accurate budgeting and financial reporting for R&D projects.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading to support financial reporting.
  • Support data integration and automation efforts by developing scripts and processes (e.g., in Python, VBA, SQL) to streamline financial reporting, including ETL workflows and basic API-driven data exchanges.
  • Help maintain financial systems and tools for tracking expenditures and project costs against budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, variance analyses, and compliance documentation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
  • Automate workflows with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Tech-savviness is essential to code and work with programing to develop scripts to optimize financial data processing.
  • Interest in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare finance industry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
