Job Title: Wellness Center Manager

Job Purpose: To provide recreation members and staff with a primary contact for all matters concerning the Wellness Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree from an accredited four year college or university with a B.A. (B.S.) Degree in recreation, health, physical education, sports management or related field; experience managing a recreation center; thorough knowledge of aquatics, games and indoor and outdoor athletics including related rules and regulations; strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills; knowledge of health and safety regulations governing recreational facilities; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Respond to customer, public, or media requests for information about Wellness Center programs or services.

· Conduct needs assessments and surveys to determine interest in, or satisfaction with, wellness center fitness programs, events, or services.

· Prepare or implement budgets and strategic, operational, purchasing, or maintenance plans.

· Oversee Wellness Center daily facilities to ensure safe and clean equipment for members.

· Track attendance, participation, or performance data related to wellness center events

· Maintain Wellness Center related schedules, records, or reports.

· Supervise Wellness Center staff.

· Conduct or facilitate training sessions or seminars for Wellness Center staff.

· Maintain or arrange for maintenance of Wellness Center fitness equipment or facilities.

· Develop marketing campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle or participation in Wellness Center programs and events.

· Recommend new program or service offerings to promote wellness and fitness, produce revenues, or minimize costs.

· Active membership in state and national recreation and/or wellness organizations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Loudon, TN 37774: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Recreation, Sports Management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Supervising: 2 years (Required)
