Telluride Land Works and Telluride Snow Removal is searching for Landscape Construction Manager for our growing residential and commercial landscaping and snow removal company. Individual will bring strong technical skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to our clientele by attending meetings, providing estimates, coordinating with landscape designer and scheduling appropriate crews to provide landscape installation services, as well as enforcing policies and procedures, and upholding company values and ethics. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to complete tasks accurately and timely. Candidates should have solid experience across fundamental construction trade skills as well as experience managing crews.

Duties:

  • Attending all client meetings and walkthroughs and promptly following up on work order requests and estimates.
  • Creating daily schedule for up to 8 crews and communicating relevant specifics for work orders to the crews and ensuring their completion.
  • Carefully reviewing all crew timesheets and ensuring that they accurate reflect the work performed and include all of the necessary information to process for payroll and invoicing.
  • Responding to customer emails promptly and taking the necessary steps to ensure requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Developing strong relationships across the team.
  • Thinking ahead to anticipate problems and provide valuable insights to avoid delays.
  • Being a strong problem solver by presenting solutions and effectively planning and prioritizing.
  • Representing to a variety of audiences, including clients, property managers, and employees.
  • Maintaining organization value by ensuring confidentiality.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in a similar position within the landscape industry.
  • Strong horticultural and irrigation expertise.
  • Outstanding organizational, administrative and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills— Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple deadlines, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities, all with minimal direction/supervision.
  • Must be a team player who works effectively with others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a positive, flexible attitude in an intense, deadline-driven business environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year

Benefits:

  • Bonuses based on performance and meeting company and individual goals.
  • Paid time off – 2 weeks
  • Sick time – 6 days per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday during the summer months and Variable schedule during the winter (approx. 45-50hrs).

Experience:

  • Landscape operation/project management: 5 years experience.
  • Landscape 5-10 years experience
  • Driver's License (Required). CDL classification preferred
  • Some knowledge of the Spanish language a plus
  • Supervision of Crews
  • Landscape Design
  • Estimating
  • General Construction
  • Sales 2-5 years experience
  • Irrigation installation/repair
  • Knowledge of local plant selections and placement
  • Aspire, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
