Summary
Supervisors activities of all F&B service from Altezza at The Peaks including restaurants, banquets and events, in-room dining, vendors, guest and employee relations, etc. Develops and promotes a positive, safe, learning, team-oriented working environment with uncompromised food quality, and service by performing the following duties personally and through subordinate managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
People
Must have an on-floor presence cultivating relationships with owners, hotel guests, club members and locals.
Maintains customer satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and customer service; initiating improvements; and building relationships with preferred customers.
Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, and redirecting staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Process
Maintains operations by enforcing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; implementing system improvements as directed by Managers.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy restaurant by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
Achieves company goals by accepting ownership for completing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Profit
Staff and schedule appropriately to manage labor costs based upon hotel occupancy.
Manages and monitors F&B inventories.
In conjunction with the Chef helps maintain all menus with the direction of the Peaks F&B Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Peaks Food and Beverage Supervisor is Responsible for some direction, coordination, and evaluation at The Peaks. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights (Including Late Nights), weekends and holidays (45 Hours per Week).
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to the executive management team.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Outlook, Explorer Internet software; Inventory software; POS software, Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software and OpenTable.

The hourly range is $27-$30 DOE

- Supervisors must be trained and pass a Food Safety, and Alcohol Safety Certification course.
- Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
- Knowledge of computers (software & hardware), Microsoft Office skills.
- Execute, train and delegate as needed, the daily reconciliation of tips and the IRS report.
- Execute, train and delegate as needed, the daily audits of the timekeeping system to eliminate missed punches and the proper departments are recorded.
- Knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, safety and security systems and procedures.
- Organization, planning, and time management skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 5 lb regularly and up to 50 lb on occasion.
- Required to work in different range of climates (Warm/Cold).
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on average.
- Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
- Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
