Job Description:
- Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of Test & Measurement electronic equipment and 5G equipment at our Client service center or customer's sites.
- Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required
- Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on client and non-client products
- Install software and firmware upgrades that may include a re-image of the customer's instrument
- Utilize strong computer skills, including automated Calibration Systems
- Understand, and utilize STE, TME, ETMS, and PC-based software as required
- Work and adhere to quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 Client quality program
- Assist in maintaining the Calibration team's accreditation through participation in proficiency testing, quality measure assurance programs, and applicable training
- Use excellent communication and organizational skills to interface with customers and peers effectively.
- Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and Client Technologies' test equipment assets
- Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and support provided by Client Technologies.
- Work on service assignments with clearly defined objectives
Requirements:
- Must have calibration service experience of all types of client and Non-client Test Equipment to include RF/ Microwave skills to 50 GHz.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics.
- Must be knowledgeable of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Requires ability and desire to learn system/automated calibration software.
- Ability to calibrate instruments both manually and using automated test procedures.
- Must have calibration service experience of all types of client Test Equipment.
- Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
- Must be flexible and capable to work in a changing priorities environment to meet strict performance metrics.
- Understand project timeline, goals and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.
- Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and Keysight to solve complex project objectives.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Candidates must be in local area (Nashua, NH) or willing to relocate themselves
- Must have ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able and willing to work overtime as needed.
