Duties
- Operate reach trucks and forklifts to move materials within the warehouse safely.
- Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling customer orders.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers.
- Package items for shipment, ensuring they are secure and ready for transport.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating reach trucks and forklifts is preferred.
- Experience with order picking processes in a warehouse setting.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Ability to load and unload materials effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Knowledge of packaging techniques to ensure product integrity during shipping.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or similar warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Competence in using RF scanners for tracking inventory.
