What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Services/Recruitment Specialist/Recruitment Operations(Fluent in Spanish) position at Tellus Solutions?
- Meet with Opportunity Home hiring managers and appropriate stakeholders to obtain information regarding expectations, challenges, requirements, and responsibilities of the vacant position.
- Receive authorizations from Executive leadership to recruit the position requested.
- Develop a position profile and advertising and social media plan based on previous successes with similar clients and positions.
- Monitor and attend relevant job fairs, enhance relationships with the career and placement office of colleges and universities. Network and post on job boards for professional associations
- Spearhead a direct networking campaign to attract top talent, executing the advertising plan. This may include national, regional, in-state and local elements as determined during meetings with Opportunity Home.
- Contact known potential candidates to encourage application.
- Outreach to others in similar classifications for either application or referral of potential applicants.
- Accept all applications. Opportunity Home uses NeoGov Insight as its recruitment management system, and the onboarding module in Neogov is utilized as well. Respondent must be able to assist candidates in the application process through Neogov Insight.
- Coordinate work orders with contracted temporary status agencies.
- Review and rate applicants and resumes. Ensure candidates meet the minimum qualifications.
- Recruitment services do not apply for internal candidates or any candidate referred by an Opportunity Home employee (current or former).
- Prescreen applicants, including in person interviews, or video conference with viable candidates. Screening must include background, education, credentials, experience, references, to ensure finalists have backgrounds of the highest integrity.
- Deliver a list of the top candidates to be interviewed for each recruitment.
- Rehires are not eligible for consideration through these services.
- Develop and vet potential interview questions in coordination with Opportunity Home.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with Opportunity Home personnel to include travel arrangements and accommodations.
- Depending on the recruited position, provide recommendations for community stakeholder involvement (i.e. interview panel participants and public forums).
- Coordinate schedules for in-person or virtual interviews. In person interviews may be at the main office or at a community property.
- Prepare the custom interview portal and train interviewers on use and application.
- Administer and score assessments. These may be in person or virtual.
- Communicate status and updates to the candidates and interviewees.
- Screen selected candidates to be hired. Screening to include updated background, criminal checks, drug screening, and additional references provided through the interview process. Transcripts or clearing record will be obtained supporting education.
- Prepare relevant documents related to a hire, lateral, or promotion change.
- Obtain appropriate Senior and Executive level approvals for the candidate prior to extending an offer, and for any changes or modifications are requested to the offer after it is made.
- Maintain familiarity and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and statutes.
- Coordinate with the hiring manager, Human Resources, and candidate on a future start date.
