Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze schematics and technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Operate CNC machines and CAM programming tools for efficient production processes.
- Employ hand tools and tooling techniques to shape, cut, and assemble materials as required.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
- Experience with CNC machinery and CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and tooling techniques relevant to fabrication processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
