Building Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that our buildings are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot building systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
• Fabricate parts or components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Lead small teams on specific projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members and management regarding maintenance issues.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience in residential painting and basic electrical work is highly desirable.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
• Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.98 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
