Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain a clean environment.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs and upkeep, contributing to overall facilities maintenance.
- Execute floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of floors.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed, ensuring quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the facility.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, demonstrating flexibility in task management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
