Job Title : Reporting and Controls Agile Program Manager
Location : Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Duration : 6-month Contract to Hire plus extensions

Key Responsibilities :
Lead Reporting & Controls Initiatives Oversee the execution of compliance and reporting programs, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and SOX requirements.
Develop SOX Compliance Plans Design, implement, and track SOX control frameworks, ensuring risk mitigation and audit readiness.
Project Planning & Execution Create and maintain detailed execution plans, track project progress, and provide clear next steps to stakeholders.
Team Coordination & Leadership Keep teams aligned with project objectives, drive accountability, and remove blockers to ensure timely execution.
Agile Project Management Leverage Agile methodologies to manage workflows, facilitate stand-ups, and drive iterative project improvements.
Stakeholder Communication Regularly update leadership and key stakeholders on project milestones, risks, and resolution plans.
Process Optimization Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance across reporting and controls initiatives.
Required Qualifications :
5 years of experience in Agile Program Management (APM) or Project Management roles.
Strong hands-on experience in SOX compliance and internal controls, including designing and implementing SOX compliance plans.
Proven ability to plan, track, and execute projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills to keep teams on track and aligned with program goals.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project progress, risks, and action plans.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-compliance environments with a focus on reporting and controls.
Agile methodology expertise, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, and Standups.
Preferred Qualifications :
PMP, CSM, or SAFe certifications are a plus.
Experience in financial reporting, audit, or risk management is highly desirable.
Prior experience in enterprise compliance programs or working with audit teams.
