Overview

Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized service plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or critical situations.
- Facilitate access to community resources, including Section 8 housing assistance and workforce development programs.
- Offer counseling services in areas such as addiction recovery, child welfare, and mental health.
- Mentor and supervise interns or junior staff members to enhance their professional development.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes in clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case management records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
Qualifications
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure preferred.
- Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies is essential.
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques is a plus.
- Strong mentoring and supervising skills to guide less experienced staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $27.15 - $28.43 per hour
