Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at a teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a range of medical skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Conduct sterile processing procedures as needed
- Assist with discharge planning for patients
- Provide education to patients on various medical procedures and treatments
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in pediatric care and infant care is preferred
- Knowledge of IV infusion procedures
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system is a plus
- Ability to perform Botulinum toxin treatments under supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment at a teaching hospital
Duration: 3 MONTHS / 14 weeks (possible extension)
Schedule: MONDAY/FRIDAY/SATURDAY
HOURS: 12.5hrs/day
SHIFT: 6:00am to 7:30 pm
MEAL: 30 mins

Pay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour
