What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Manager position at Telnet?
- Provide subject matter expertise on wireless construction quality standards
- Serve as a resource to our employees for customer specifications regarding OSHA regulations, ANSI standards and MNS safety policies.
- Provide assistance to review and verify required critical certifications for field technicians, internal tower crews and General Contractors.
- Participate and provide leadership for weekly market safety meetings involving discussions to mitigate hazards, conduct incident root cause investigations, or assist operations with pre-job planning.
- Support the Market Operations Construction Team and Field crews
- Implement, interact and maintain pro-active communication with Market Operations and Regional/Corporate Safety
- 3 years of experience in performing on-site safety audits of tower crews
- Wireless construction experience
- OSHA 500 hour certification preferred
- Expertise in electrical, crane/man-lift, Competent Tower Climber safety standards preferred
