Clinical Healthcare Assistant, EMT, LPN, KMA or CNA for Vital Sign Monitoring, Patient Monitoring
This position will be located in-person in Mayfield, KY, 42066 area working approximately 4 hours a day - Monday - Friday in a skilled nursing facility setting.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Clinical Healthcare Assistant for Vital Sign Monitoring. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our innovative program, helping patients manage their health from the comfort of their homes. As a Clinical Healthcare Assistant, you'll work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and technology systems to ensure seamless monitoring and data collection.
Responsibilities:
Vital Sign Monitoring:
Assist patients in accurately measuring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature.
Educate patients on proper measurement techniques and ensure compliance with monitoring schedules.
Technology Integration:
Collaborate with our technical team to set up and troubleshoot monitoring devices in patients' homes.
Train patients on using equipment and mobile apps for data transmission.
Data Management:
Collect, organize, and transmit patient data securely to healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and vital sign readings.
Patient Engagement:
Communicate with patients via phone, video calls, or messaging to address any concerns or questions.
Foster a supportive and empathetic relationship with patients to encourage adherence to monitoring protocols.
Travel and Fast-Paced Environment:
Be willing to travel to patients' homes for device setup, training, and occasional troubleshooting.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing patient needs and technology updates.
Organizational Skills:
Keep meticulous records, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Coordinate appointments and follow-up visits efficiently.
Professional Growth:
As our program expands, this role can evolve into a larger position within the company.
Contribute ideas for process improvement and program enhancement.
Qualifications:
Certification: EMT, LPN (Licensed to Practice as a Practical Nurse), or KMA / CNA certification required int he State of Kentucky.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology, including mobile apps and medical devices.
Organized: Exceptional organizational skills to manage patient data and schedules.
Adaptable: Able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving healthcare landscape.
Excellent Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate: Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
Availability: Initially part-time, with the future potential to transition to full-time based on performance.
Compensation:
