As a Database Analyst, you’ll be a pivotal part of our success as you manage client consumer product databases, and run weekly and monthly reports in our MS Excel-based tools.
What You'll Do
- Deliver Insights: Use your expert knowledge of CPG market intelligence to provide clients with actionable insights that support their goals.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison between clients and TELUS, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple clients and projects, balancing priorities effectively while delivering exceptional quality control for monthly updates.
- Data Analysis: Manage client usage reports, performance scorecards, and provide in-depth analyses to guide improvements for clients.
- Train and Educate: Train client end-users on TELUS TABS Analytics suite of tools and services, ensuring they maximize the benefits of our offerings.
- Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to share insights and enhance company-wide efficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerBI, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical aptitude, demonstrated through work samples, case studies, or recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy.
- Experience in the CPG industry (Sales, Analytics, or Brand Management) or a related analytics firm.
- In-depth understanding of the Beverage Alcohol industry, including knowledge of category management, sales analytics, distributor management and/or marketing strategy.
- Ability to provide consultative services in a matrixed team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Experience with relational data models and structuring data for insightful analyses.
- Proven ability to negotiate challenging contracts, maximizing financial outcomes and positive customer experiences.
- Knowledge and experience in technology or consulting business development within the CPG industry.
- Familiarity with the three-tier BevAlc selling structure within the industry.
- Experience in technology and/or consulting business development in a similar CPG role.
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end account plans, deal plans, and close plans.
