Project Summary
This user study focuses on generating indoor data and collecting video recordings of each participant. The Lightning Technician / Study Moderator will guide participants through a series of tasks. Each moderated session will last 180 min. In addition, the Lightning Technician / Study Moderator will work preparing, troubleshooting, and organizing light stages.
Role Summary
Moderators are expected to interact directly with study participants using provided study protocols and managing the data collected during each session. Moderators will report to the Project Manager and Project Coordinator. Training will be provided before the start of data collection. Sessions occur on-site in Los Angeles, CA, with additional support staff on-site to manage participant intake and provide technical support regarding cameras, cables and light stages.
Main Responsibilities
- Use scissor lifts with proper safety standards to support troubleshooting light stages
- Troubleshoot and prepare lighting stages
- Troubleshoot and organize power and sync cabling systems for lights and CV Cameras
- Receive participants at work and guide them through the video study in a controlled environment
- Ensure all recordings are done per project guidelines and upload the data
- Have all participants complete a survey at the end of each session
- Follow COVID-19 sanitization procedures after each session
- Represent and promote the TELUS AI brand
